Jessica Spatz-McNeary, Ph.D.
Dr. Spatz-McNeary is a licensed and PA Certified School Psychologist who completed her undergraduate education in Psychology at Pennsylvania State University (BA, 1996), and earned her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Developmental Psychology from Bryn Mawr College (MA, 1999; PhD, 2005).
At the Center for Child Assessment and Therapy, Dr. Spatz-McNeary works with children, adolescents, college-age students, and their families in the Chestnut Hill office. Her professional practice focuses on psychoeducational assessment and consultation. Referral questions include learning differences and disabilities, social-emotional and behavioral challenges within the school setting, attention deficit disorders (ADHD), eligibility for school-based and standardized testing accommodations, and identification of giftedness. In addition to comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation and consultation, Dr. Spatz-McNeary specializes in school admissions work, with an emphasis on evaluation of applicants, consultation with families regarding school options, and consultation with schools regarding admissions procedures and standards. Apart from her work at The Center for Child Assessment and Therapy, Dr. Spatz-McNeary serves as the Director of Student Support Services at a local independent school.
