Alexis Rosenfeld, Ph.D.
Dr. Rosenfeld is a licensed clinical and certified school psychologist. She received her undergraduate training in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania (B.A. 1996) and her doctorate in Clinical Developmental Psychology from Bryn Mawr College (Ph.D. 2004).
At the Center for Child Assessment and Therapy in Media, Dr. Rosenfeld works with children, adolescents and families in need of therapeutic support for anxiety and mood difficulties. She also provides comprehensive evaluations for children and adolescents with suspected learning disabilities and/or other school-related challenges. Her primary areas of interest include: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for children and teens with anxiety and mood disturbances, supportive counseling for children experiencing stress related to school performance and social life, family therapy to help foster strong and supportive family relationships, and assessment and school-based recommendations for children with learning differences, including giftedness. Dr. Rosenfeld also regularly consults with parents about issues and concerns related to their children’s development.
